JusticeCon 2.0
JusticeCon is a social justice conference that aims to empower leaders for social change through community-building, conversation, and courageous action.
First held on June 19, 2020, in response to the police murders of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd and the urgent need to address structural racism broadly. Though we’ve seen signs of progress over the last year—such as Goldman Sachs’ $10B investment in Black women and the conviction of Derek Chauvin—we’ve also seen a desire to cling to the status quo of white supremacy. The January 6 insurrection, robust voter suppression bills in 39 states, and legislative efforts to ban anti-racist education all indicate that there’s a long way to go in the battle for Black liberation. JusticeCon 2.0 is the next phase in the fight for freedom.
JusticeCon 2.0 will be held on June 18, 2022, in Harlem, New York at the historic Apollo Theater.
Registration will begin on Martin L. King, Jr. Day, January 17, 2022.
